San Diego housing report for February 2014. – The lack of inventory continues to be a factor in the San Diego housing market. With less homes available for sale, buyers are left to compete for what’s on the market and can often end in a bidding war. This enables the property values to increase and give rise to a sellers market.
There are 5991 active homes for sale in San Diego at the time of writing this report. This is considerably low for our market.
February stats show homes for sale under $750,000 have had an increase in value year over year. For higher priced homes not as much. Less homes were actually sold below $450,000 than the previous year due to the low inventory.
